Counselling

Jennine holds a master's in counselling and is registered with the Australian Counselling Association.

​The core foundation of Jennine's counselling is based in person-centred therapy, complemented by a diverse range of counselling modalities tailored to meet each client's unique needs, interests, and responsiveness.

Therapies include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Based Therapy (MBSR), Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Analytical Therapy.

Jennine is a qualified mindfulness practitioner with over ten years' experience facilitating individual sessions and group courses.
Jennine draws from the research and teachings of Jon Kabat Zinn, Bessel Van De Kolk, Ekhart Tolle, and Dan Siegel among others in understanding the connection between body and mind in reducing stress and increasing emotional regulation.
Techniques taught include present moment awareness, breath works, body scans, mindful movement, self-compassion, somatic experiencing along with greater understanding of why stress occurs.
